Privacy Policy

The short version: your data exists to power your coaching — nothing else. We don't run ads, we don't sell your data, and deleting your account erases everything, everywhere, in one tap.
Who we are
Lumi AI ("Lumi", "we") is a personal glow-up coaching app operated by NVEN Labs. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it goes, and the choices you have. Questions any time: support@lumiglow.app.
What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we receive your name, email address, and an account identifier. An account is required to use Lumi — it keeps your plan, photos, and progress safe across devices and lets you delete everything in one place.
- Photos. Lumi is built around photos you choose to take: your onboarding selfie, daily skin checks, and weekly progress check-ins. They're stored on your device and in your private cloud space, visible only to you.
- Your answers and chats. Onboarding answers (goals, skin and hair concerns, routine, time budget), mission activity, and your conversations with the AI coach. This includes wellness information you share, like your skin type and concerns.
- Purchase information. Your subscription status, processed by Apple and validated by RevenueCat. We never see your payment details — Apple keeps those.
- Usage and diagnostics. Anonymous analytics events (which screens are used, whether the paywall converts) and crash reports, so we can fix problems and improve the app. These are not tied to your identity.
How your data is used
- To coach you. Your photos, answers, and chats are the inputs to your blueprint, your daily skin reads, and the coach's advice. That's the product.
- AI processing. To generate your plan and reads, your photos and relevant context are sent securely through our own server to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing. Under OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train their models. We send only what's needed for your request.
- To run the service. Authentication, cloud sync, subscription validation, crash fixing.
- Never for ads. No advertising SDKs, no data brokers, no selling or renting your data — ever. We don't track you across other apps or websites.
Where your data lives
Your account, plan, and chats are stored with Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage) in a private space only your account can access, protected by security rules and encryption in transit. Subscription state is managed by RevenueCat. Photos are additionally cached on your device with system file protection.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account, so your progress and coaching history stay intact. When you delete your account, your profile, photos, chats, and plan are permanently deleted from our systems. Anonymous analytics and crash data, which contain no personal identifiers, may persist in aggregate.
Your choices and rights
- Delete everything: Settings → Delete account erases your account and all associated data from our servers — no email required, no waiting period.
- Access or correction: your plan, photos, and profile are all visible and editable in the app; for anything else, email us.
- Notifications: reminders are optional and controlled in Settings or iOS Settings.
- Depending on where you live (e.g., EU/EEA under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have additional rights — access, portability, erasure, objection. Email support@lumiglow.app and we'll honor them.
Children
Lumi is not for children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Third parties we rely on
- Apple — sign-in, payments, and subscriptions
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, photo storage, anonymous analytics, and crash reporting
- RevenueCat — subscription validation
- OpenAI — AI processing of your coaching requests, via our server
Each processes data only to provide their service to us, under their own security and privacy commitments.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
